Mounting & usage guide
Mounting
- Footprint 196 × 189 mm, 48 mm tall (about 1.78 litres).
- No VESA mount: place it on a shelf or a rack tray, or use a universal strap-style mini PC holder.
Cooling & heat
- Under load it reaches about 115 W and the fan becomes audible. For an always-on server, lower the power limit (TDP) in the BIOS to cut heat and noise.
- Clean dust from the vents every 6-12 months to keep temperatures and power draw low.
Recommended use cases
- OPNsense or pfSense firewall/router: 2x 10G SFP+ + 2x 2.5GbE to split WAN, LAN and VLANs.
- Proxmox VE with several VMs and LXC containers: up to 64 GB RAM.
- Home lab with fast network storage: the 10G ports suit NAS, backups and Proxmox clusters.
- Heavy office work, light photo/video editing and intensive multitasking.
