What data we collect

This is a static website: there are no user accounts, no first-party analytics or advertising tools, and no personal data stored in a database.

• Technical browsing data. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To serve pages and protect them from abuse, Cloudflare processes IP addresses, browser type and request times, as described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
• Data you send us. If you email us (including through the form on the Contact page, which opens your own email client), we process your name, email address and message only to reply to you.

Purposes and legal basis

• Delivering and securing the website: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Answering your messages: steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Amazon affiliate links

This site participates in the Amazon Associates Program. When you click a link to Amazon you leave this site: from then on your data is processed by Amazon under its own privacy notice, and Amazon may use cookies to attribute a purchase. See our affiliate disclosure and cookie policy.

Retention

Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and no longer than 24 months. Technical logs are retained by Cloudflare under its own policies.

International transfers

Cloudflare and Amazon may process data outside the European Union under Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing, by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
