Mounting & usage guide

Mounting

Footprint 127 × 127 mm, 51 mm tall (about 0.82 litres).
Supports VESA mounting (75/100 mm bracket): attach it behind your monitor or under the desk to free up space. Keep the front USB ports and power button reachable.
When VESA-mounted, keep the vents clear: leave at least 1-2 cm between the case and the monitor.

Cooling & heat

Under load it reaches about 79 W and the fan becomes audible. For an always-on server, lower the power limit (TDP) in the BIOS to cut heat and noise.
Clean dust from the vents every 6-12 months to keep temperatures and power draw low.

Recommended use cases

Virtualised router (OPNsense VM on Proxmox) using the 2x 2.5GbE.
Always-on Home Assistant: at about 9 W idle it is cheap to run 24/7.
Proxmox VE with several VMs and LXC containers: up to 64 GB RAM.
Heavy office work, light photo/video editing and intensive multitasking.
